First Tee – Atlantic partners with Dormie Workshop for 2026 First Tee – Atlantic Cup at Old Ashburn

HALIFAX — First Tee – Atlantic and Dormie Workshop have announced a partnership to present the 2026 First Tee – Atlantic Cup, set for June 22 at Old Ashburn Golf Club.

The collaboration brings together two organizations committed to growing the game of golf and creating positive community impact. The event will serve as a major fundraising initiative, combining the strengths of Dormie Workshop’s successful Play Yellow tournament and the First Tee – Atlantic Cup, which debuted last year.

“First Tee – Atlantic is doing remarkable work to grow the game of golf here at home, especially through programs that engage diverse communities and empower young girls to thrive both on and off the course,” said Julian Marentette, director of marketing at Dormie Workshop. “We’re proud to stand alongside them in creating an event that celebrates golf’s ability to inspire confidence, connection and opportunity.”

The partnership reflects a shared belief in golf’s power to unite people and make a lasting difference in the lives of youth. The 2026 First Tee – Atlantic Cup will deliver a purpose-driven tournament experience, blending competition with community engagement.

“We are incredibly grateful to have the support of Dormie Workshop, which is not only one of the most respected brands in the golf industry, but one that was proudly founded right here in Atlantic Canada,” said Steve Healy, development officer for First Tee – Atlantic. “This partnership allows us to create an event that truly reflects the spirit of our region while advancing our mission to make golf more accessible and impactful for young people.”

Registration details and event information will be announced in the coming months.
