HALIFAX, N.S. — The second annual First Tee – Atlantic Cup presented by Dormie Workshop brought together a sold-out field of supporters at Old Ashburn in Halifax on June 22, for a memorable day of golf, community and giving back.
As the chapter’s premier fundraising event, the 2026 First Tee – Atlantic Cup raised more than $97,000, supporting First Tee – Atlantic’s mission of empowering youth through low-barrier golf opportunities across Atlantic Canada.
Since launching in 2022, First Tee – Atlantic has engaged more than 50,000 youth through life skills-based introductory golf programming at courses, schools and community organizations. Funds raised through the First Tee – Atlantic Cup support the continued growth of these programs, helping young people build confidence, resilience and character through the game.
Participants of the fundraising event enjoyed on-course competitions, hole activations, custom gifting from Dormie Workshop and unique auction experiences. Highlights included the opportunity to golf with Nova Scotia’s Myles Creighton, and beautiful original artwork by East Coast artist Allie Beckwith.
Special thanks to the entire Ashburn team for their hospitality, and to the participants, volunteers, donors and partners whose generosity made the day possible.
